		<description>Thanks for the comment, Caren.  I'm recoding using an external mic to the hard drive of my computer, and mixing "live" with CastBlaster software (www.castblaster.com), which mixes in sounds with the voice, and has basic level controls.  I also have a mic for the ipod which I'll be using to get wild sound for "soundseeing" tours and interviews.  I tested it out yesterday, and of course it's harder to control the sound in that kind of setting, so I'll be experimenting with different ways of processing it.  You're right.  Going forward, I will only be using music for the intro and outro and for short punctuation between segments.  Thanks for the suggestion.</description>
