RP229: Certified Angus Beef
ReMARKable Palate #229: Certified Angus Beef
On this week’s show, I get a taste of some of the highest quality beef around: Certified Angus Beef PRIME, which is among the top 1 1/2% of all beef sold in this country. I was invited to eat at a luncheon at the West Bank Cafe here in Manhattan, but the meal was prepared by Chef Peter Vauthy and his assistant, Chef James Gibson from Red Steakhouse, who were in town to cook at the James Beard House. These guys know their beef, and I got a nice taste of some of what they had in store for the Beard Dinner. We start the show by speaking with Sarah Houret from the Certified Angus Beef Board.
Theme Song: “Go Fish”, by Big Money Grip, from the Podsafe Music Network.
